*** Cost variance is due to the time at which you turn in your application and can pay for your international/domestic tickets based on increasing prices by the airlines of international tickets (airline tickets are purchased upon full payment of ticket price)
REQUIREMENTS

Attendance of Orientation/Orientational Information either in person, per phone, on website or with ER administration team.

Application, Health Questionnaire, Liability Waiver, Emergency Medical Release and ER Volunteer Guidelines and Policy. All above mentioned documents must be completed, signed, and turned in prior to acceptance to outreach and/or purchase of ticket (see requirement specifics for returning outreach participants and overseas partners)

Attendance of Outreach Training stateside recommended and Overseas Orientation Required

All participants must be 16 years of older, unless traveling with a parent or legal guardian

All participants 16-18 years old must have a notarized authorization form to travel overseas (see
ER administration for document forms and any questions/concerns) -
All participants must have a willingness to serve, be flexible, accountable, and respectful to all
volunteers and leadership while serving on/participating in and/or representing Embrace and Reach International.
MISSIONS STATEMENT OF ER
we are a non-profit missions organization with a desire to embrace and encourage the body of Christ and to reach people with the love of God. At the heart of every event and ministry sponsored by Embrace and Reach International is a desire to extend God’s grace, love and care to those in need and to those who volunteer their time and talents.
While we are respectful of the cultures in which we serve and also the diversity of the people who serve with us, our required guidelines are meant to fully disclose and make aware to all volunteers the expectations of character and behavior while serving on our overseas missions outreach.
Our ultimate desire is to see each individual grow in their knowledge and personal relationship with the God who loves and has created them.
MEDICAL & HEALTH RECOMMENDATIONS

Tdap (whooping cough) Recommended within past 5 years

Covid Vaccines Recommended but not required. See present government requirements for Covid vaccinations and testing prior to departure and upon arrival.

Hepatitis B Vaccine- series of 3.

Know your TB testing status prior to departure and retest as needed upon arrival stateside

Hydration (consider purchase of “Lifestraw” filtration water bottle/straw for travel)

Update any changes in your medical status immediately prior to departure

Mosquito Repellent and Malaria tablets (see CDC recommendations)

Travel Insurance will be offered as option for all participants for additional cost (small)

Seek your own Personal Medical Physician for any personal medical recommendations
